CIO Europe IT Sales for Global Automotive Manufacturers
Digital Future was responsible for filling a top-class position as CIO Europe IT Sales in one of the most transformative and crucial phases for the automotive industry in general. The role is responsible for a holistic, strategic and operational IT management and for the global sales back-end systems, contributing to the fundamental definition of a future-proof IT architecture. This position will report directly to the Executive Board and leads a global team of over 400 employees to shape the future of automotive sales together.
Process
As a trustworthy partner in the market, Digital Future was able to elaborate a tailor-made market mapping based on an existing network and recommendations in the field of Ecommerce, Sales and IT with the focus on a D2C approach. After an intensive research & qualification phase a candidate map consisting of 11 top candidates was presented just four weeks after placing the search. Eight of them received positive feedback. Out of seven candidates interviewed, one candidate made it to the final round.
Challenges
The search was particularly challenging, as the position requires extremely good technological skills, but at the same time must also understand the entire sales process at business level. This track record in combination with extensive management responsibility is high demand.
